Spain, French Riviera & Italy

Cruise through legendary Mediterranean waters once sailed by the greatest explorers and warriors in history.

Iberia
Explore the Spanish Mainland and cruise the Balearics. Ports of call include:
  • Barcelona
A city of infinite variety, from the cobbled streets of the Barrio Gotico, the Gothic old town, to the modern seaport. Visit Gaudi's unique Church of the Holy Family, begun in 1882 and still being built or take the funicular to the highest peaks around Barcelona for views of the city.
  • Gibraltar
The rock of Gibraltar stands 14,000 feet high and marks the end of the Mediterranean. Take a cable car to the top for panoramic views of Spain, Morocco, the Mediterranean sea and Gibraltar itself.
  • Palma
There are many beautiful attractions in this city to interest visitors - Beliver Castle, the Cathedral and Almundiana Palace, once home to the Moorish kings.
  • Malaga
The massive fortress palace of The Alcazaba overlooks the town and is evidence of the long occupation by the Moors. Choose from a range of tours, including one to the Alhambra Palace at Granada.
  • Cadiz
Take a tour around the town and see the museums, cathedral and other landmarks or take a trip to Seville to visit the vast Gothic Cathedral, home to priceless treasures and the tomb of Christopher Columbus.

French Riviera and Italy
Cruise around the splendours of Italy and promenade along the French Riviera. Ports of call include:
  • Villefranche for Monte Carlo, Nice, Cannes

Away from the glamour of the Mediterranean coast you can visit Grasse and it's perfumeries of the Medieval charm of St. Paul-de-Venice. Home to playboys, princes and high-rollers is the beautiful Mediterranean riviera of Monte Carlo, a fairy tale place. Wander through the covered passageways of the old quarter or have a drink in the famous Hotel de Paris. Alternatively take a trip to the star-studded sights of Cannes or the Mediterranean splendour of Nice.
  • Savona Portofino
Browse the shops or soak up the Mediterranean atmosphere in a pavement café on the quays of sun drenched Portofino which are hard to reach by road, making this Italian port seem like a hidden treasure.
  • Marseilles
France's oldest and liveliest city, founded 2,500 years ago by Greek colonists. Choose between a tour of the city, Marseilles and Avignon or the islet of famous Chateau d'If from Alexander Dumas' The Count of Monte Cristo.
  • Civitevechia (Rome)
The port of Civitevechia is the cruise ship's gateway to the ancient city of Rome for anyone on a Mediterranean cruise. See the Forum, St. Peter's Basilica, the Pantheon, the Sistine Chapel. The city is home to a lifetime of historical, architectural and spiritual sites.
