You'll marvel at the majesty of one of Alaska's most impressive sights, the Sawyer Glacier! Starting in Vancouver, Canada, or Seattle, Washington State USA, your luxury liner cruises north to an icy wonderland. Ports of call include:
- Ketchikan
Alaska's "First City" is wedged between the forests of Deer Mountain and the waters of the Tongas Narrows. Take one of the tours to some of the world's largest Totem Poles collections situated just outside Ketchikan.
- Juneau
The capital of Alaska and one of America's most beautiful cities. Visit some of the many mining museums of Gold Rush country. The rainforest environment provides an abundance of flora and fauna as well as breathtaking glacier views.
- Sawyer Glacier
Cruise by some of the most breathtaking wildlife. Seals, seabirds, porpoises and sea lions all live in the area.
- Skagway
The Gold Rush came and went, along with 20,000 prospectors, leaving behind a trail of gun-slinging desperados and corruption in the 1890's. They were followed by the White Pass and Yukon railway, which you can still ride today.
- Victoria, British Columbia
The first and last stop of many Alaska cruises. Once home to the oldest Chinatown on the West Coast, now with a very British feel. Visit Bastion Square's former brothels, saloons and warehouses now transformed into atmospheric galleries and cafés.
